Missed Reactions

You cannot charter a radiologist for every contrast shift.

In Alaska the supervision problem is not budget — it is physics. Weather grounds flights, locums get stuck, and a facility in Bethel or Nome cannot schedule contrast around who happens to be in town. Meanwhile the patient who cannot get a contrast study locally is buying a plane ticket to Anchorage. Tether puts a board-certified physician on your studies over a secure connection, so your contrast schedule holds through freeze-up, breakup, and everything in between.

What changes when coverage is never the question

Stop rescheduling contrast patients

Grow volume without growing payroll

Technologists who walk in ready

Audit-ready without the paperwork

Live in weeks, not quarters

From first call to first supervised scan

Step one — the twenty-minute call

We scope your sites, modalities, operating hours, and current coverage. You get a straight answer on what your program looks like and what it costs, usually before we hang up.

Step two — we prepare your center

Hardware deployment, physician credentialing and state licensure, technologist training, reaction kit placement, and your supervision documentation. Setup is our job, not yours.

Step three — one button, seconds to a physician

Your technologist presses once and reaches a credentialed physician. Sessions document themselves. You get monthly QA summaries and a partner watching your state's rules.

Where Alaska stands

Alaska places no state restriction on virtual contrast supervision. The governing standard is federal, and as of January 1, 2026 CMS permanently recognizes real-time audio and video presence as satisfying direct supervision. Tether's platform and documentation are built to that standard.

Important note

This page is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. Supervision requirements vary by facility type, license category, modality, and payer and accreditation requirements, and they change over time. Facilities should confirm applicable requirements with their own counsel.
