Missed Reactions

One vacation should not close contrast imaging for a week.

On the Western Slope, in the San Luis Valley, and across the Eastern Plains, one physician's vacation can shut down contrast studies for days. Patients get rescheduled or sent over a pass. Front Range facilities have the opposite problem: plenty of demand, competitive pressure on scheduling, and no appetite for adding a radiologist salary just to keep contrast slots open into the evening. Tether solves both with coverage that scales by the hour instead of by the hire.

What changes when coverage is never the question

Stop rescheduling contrast patients

Grow volume without growing payroll

Technologists who walk in ready

Audit-ready without the paperwork

Live in weeks, not quarters

From first call to first supervised scan

Step one — the twenty-minute call

We scope your sites, modalities, operating hours, and current coverage. You get a straight answer on what your program looks like and what it costs, usually before we hang up.

Step two — we prepare your center

Hardware deployment, physician credentialing and state licensure, technologist training, reaction kit placement, and your supervision documentation. Setup is our job, not yours.

Step three — one button, seconds to a physician

Your technologist presses once and reaches a credentialed physician. Sessions document themselves. You get monthly QA summaries and a partner watching your state's rules.

Where Colorado stands

Colorado does not license radiologic technologists and places no restriction on virtual contrast supervision. The governing standard is the CMS permanent rule effective January 1, 2026. Tether verifies each technologist's ARRT registration during onboarding and documents every session to that federal standard.

Important note

This page is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. Supervision requirements vary by facility type, license category, modality, and payer and accreditation requirements, and they change over time. Facilities should confirm applicable requirements with their own counsel.
