Twenty miles can take an hour here.

West Virginia's terrain means a patient's nearest imaging center is often their only realistic option, and the state carries among the oldest populations and highest chronic disease burdens in the country. Add some of the most acute rural physician shortages anywhere and local contrast capacity becomes critical. Tether staffs qualified clinical coverage on site so those studies stay available where patients can reach them.

What changes when coverage is never the question

Stop canceling for want of coverage

Coverage priced to your volume, not a salary

Technologists who walk in ready

Audit-ready without the paperwork

Virtual-ready the day your state moves

From first call to first supervised scan

Step one — the twenty-minute call

We scope your sites, modalities, operating hours, and current coverage. You get a straight answer on what your program looks like and what it costs, usually before we hang up.

Step two — we prepare your center

Hardware deployment, physician credentialing and state licensure, technologist training, reaction kit placement, and your supervision documentation. Setup is our job, not yours.

Step three — ready when you need it

A credentialed clinician is scheduled at your imaging center to meet your state’s on-site supervision requirements. Your team gets dependable coverage, documented workflows, and the same Tether clinical support behind every shift.

Where West Virginia stands today

West Virginia currently requires a supervising physician immediately and physically available for contrast administration. Legislation introduced in the 2026 session would strike that requirement and expand the licensed practitioner definition. Tether tracks its status and will engage the state Board of Examiners on enactment.

Important note

This page is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. Supervision requirements vary by facility type, license category, modality, and payer and accreditation requirements, and they change over time. Facilities should confirm applicable requirements with their own counsel.
